Economic Immigration

  • Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) - Provincial nomination is an important fast-track option for Canadian permanent residence. The Federal Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allows Canadian provinces and territories nominate individual immigration candidates, who wish to immigrate to Canada, and wish to make their new home in a particular Canadian province or territory.
  • Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) - The federal government together with the governments of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island have committed to welcome approximately 7,000 new immigrants and their families to the Atlantic region of Eastern Canada, through this program, in the next three years.
  • Canada Agri-Food Pilot Program - The occupations and industries eligible under the Agri-Food Immigration Pilot include:
    • meat processing
      • retail butcher
      • industrial butcher
      • food processing labourer
    • harvesting labourer for year-round mushroom production and greenhouse crop production
    • general farm worker for year-round mushroom production, greenhouse crop production, or livestock raising
    • farm supervisor and specialized livestock worker for meat processing, year-round mushroom production, greenhouse crop production or livestock raising.
  • Canada Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) - The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot is community-driven, which means participating communities take the lead in attracting new immigrants and matching them with local job vacancies, promoting a welcoming community, and connecting newcomers to established members of the community and local settlement services.
  • Caregiver - The Home Child Care Provider Pilot and the Home Support Worker Pilot are programs that let qualified caregivers and their family members come to Canada with the goal of becoming permanent residents.
  • Family Sponsorship - The Canadian government has accounted for a wide variety of relationships that meet the requirements for Family Class Sponsorship. Some of these relationships include spouses and common-law partners, parents and grandparents, and dependent children. For grandparents and parents, eligible candidates should try to meet the requirements for the Super Visa program.
  • Humanitarian and Compassionate Consideration - Humanitarian and compassionate grounds apply to people with exceptional cases and applications are assessed on the individual case-by-case basis.

Temporary Immigration

  • Study Visa - A Study VISA is a document issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that allows a foreign national to study in Canada for a limited time.
  • Visitor Visa - A visitor visa (also called a temporary resident visa) is an official document that may allow you to stay for more or less than 6 months.
  • Parent/Grandparent Visa - The Parent and Grandparent Super Visa allows the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to come to Canada as visitors for a period of up to five consecutive years at their initial visit without having to renew their status.
  • Open Work Permits - Under Canadian immigration regulations, foreign spouses and common-law partners of temporary foreign workers and foreign students, who themselves want to work in Canada, are eligible to apply for an open work permit.
  • LMIA Based Work Permit - A Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document issued by the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) which confirms that the job in question couldn’t be filled by a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, therefore, arising the demand to hire a foreign national.
  • Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) - IRCC’s Post Graduate Work Permit Program allows international graduates from eligible Canadian Designated Learning Institutes (DLIs) to obtain open work permits for up to 3 years and gain Canadian work experience.
  • Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) - Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) is helpful for foreign workers in Canada, whose current work permit is due to expire within four months, and have applied for permanent residence, under either the Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Class, the Canadian Experience Class or one of the Provincial Nominee Programs.
  • Intra Company Transfer Immigration Program - Under this program, foreign businesses can transfer eligible employers from their offices to their affiliated or parent companies located in Canada. This program exempts the candidate from procuring LMIA (Labor Market Impact assessment). The employees working as executives, senior managers and functional managers may qualify for this program.
